Are you the one? Join Wake County in this exciting opportunity to serve as our next IT Project Manager! As the Project Manager youwill be responsible for directing projects, cross-functional teams andmaintaining all project deliverables including scheduling, risk management,change management, status reporting, budget and contract management. You willoversee all aspects of project execution, using project management bestpractices and Wake County policies and procedures. Essential Functions: • Manages projects and facilitates communication with project teams, stakeholders and vendors • Engages effectively in a team setting environment either via virtual or in person • Adheres to Wake County IT standards, policies and procedures • Organizes and prioritizes workload while providing up-to-date status reporting to IT Leadership • Proactively seek role related training and certification • Must be willing to act in a consulting role and provide mentorship tointernal and external project members NOTE: For positions with a remote work option, all Wake County Government remote workers must reside in one of the following states or districts: North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Virginia.
