Oral Surgery Insurance Specialist
Insurance Billing Outsourcing is a Dental insurance outsourcing company looking for experienced Dental/Medical billing individuals. Our Specialists have many years of experience and enjoy working in the Dental field. This position would be working fully remotely doing Dental/Medical insurance tasks; filing insurance claims, calling insurance carriers, or utilizing the insurance portals to work insurance AR, posting insurance payments, verification of benefits, etc. Our Account Specialists may also work on patient accounts receivable. The individual will need to be comfortable with computers and should be able to learn software easily. Our Specialist may work with multiple practice software each day. When working remotely, basic computer knowledge is required. Having experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheet software is preferred. Spreadsheets are utilized in this position daily. The daily routine would be calling insurance carriers or utilizing the insurance portals to work insurance AR, filing Dental and/or Dental/Medical insurance claims, posting EOBs, completing verification of benefits forms, and scanning them into the Dental practice software remotely. We are looking for a dependable team player who is a good self-starter with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. Insurance Billing Outsourcing is a company that prides itself on knowledge and excellence in service. Must have a laptop or a desktop computer, and be HIPAA compliant. Having a 2nd Monitor is a plus. Knowledge of the Dental field is required. At least three years of Dental and/or Medical billing experience is preferred. Having Dental and Dental/Medical claims filing and EOB posting experience is required. Knowledge of EOB adjustment posting is required. Medical Billing and Coding Certification preferred. Knowledge of Oral Surgery is required, and experience in sleep apnea, TMJ, and hospital trauma is preferred. Also, experience with WinOMS, DSN, and Epic practice software is preferred. Knowledge of other specialties and practice software is a plus.
