QA Engineer - Tietoevry Create ( m/f/d)

Job Description Position: QA Analyst Location: USA (Remote) Duration: 6 months + Rate: $70K - $75K/annum Note – Resources need to have valid work permit (For instance - USC/ GC holders) Summary: The Quality Assurance Analyst role plays an important part in the Application life cycle process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, and implementing test plans. Writes and maintains test automation as needed. Supports quality assurance standards. Ultimately, they should monitor all stages of Application development to identify and resolve system/process malfunctions to meet quality standards. Responsibilities- §Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback §Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases §Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities §Performs quality assurance testing, automation as needed. §Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs (root cause analysis) §Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved §Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet business needs §Communicates with multiple levels of personnel §Documents and submits status reports §Documents testing results and coordinates with developers on test issues §Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies §Collaboration with different development teams §Proven work experience in software quality assurance and development §Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes §Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases that meet the corporate standards and industry best practices §Solid knowledge of SQL and Scripting §Solid Experience in web application automation using Selenium and Java §Strong understanding of multiple platforms and complex processes - Java,REST Api, ETL tools (Informatica), Database and able to perform QA/Testing on them §Experience with various test management tools like ALM, JIRA §Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process §Experience with performance testing §Experience with automated testing tools. §Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills §Good knowledge of security protocols including OAuth, IDM and SSO. §Bachelor’s Degree or related experience §5+ years’ experience as a QA Analyst, with roles of increasing responsibility and complexity" Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
